1 Information we collect

On Instagram

When you comment on our post or send us a message, we collect your Instagram user ID, username, the content of your comment/message, and your follow status — only after you initiate the interaction. We do not collect data about people who have not contacted us.

On the website

When you register, we collect the email address and account details you provide.

Analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity for aggregate, mostly-anonymous usage analytics to improve the site.

Purchases

Payments are processed by our provider Sumit. We do not store card details — they are handled directly and securely by the processor.

2 Why we collect it, and the legal basis

• To deliver what you requested — send the free guide/content you asked for and manage your account — based on your consent and performance of the requested service.
• Marketing (subject to separate consent) — send relevant updates and offers (workshops, courses, webinars), which you can opt out of at any time.
• Improving the service — analyze usage and improve content.
• Legal obligations — issuing invoices and keeping records as required by law.

Providing data is voluntary and not legally required; however, without the necessary data we cannot provide some services (e.g., send the guide or complete a purchase).

3 Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use service providers that process data solely to provide the service:

• Meta (Instagram) — the platform through which the communication happens.
• Supabase — website and account data storage.
• Microsoft Clarity — analytics.
• Sumit — payment processing and invoicing.

We will disclose data to others only where required by law or valid legal process.

4 International transfer

Some providers (such as Meta, Supabase, and Microsoft) process data on servers outside Israel, including in the United States and the EU. By using the Service you consent to such transfers, made subject to those providers' safeguards.

5 Data retention

We keep data for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for, or until you request its deletion — whichever is earlier. Accounting and purchase records are kept for the period required by law (typically 7 years). Afterward, data is deleted or anonymized.

6 Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Data is stored in a secured database and used only for the purposes described here. In the event of a material security incident, we will act in accordance with our reporting obligations under law.

7 Your rights

Subject to law, you have the right to:

• Access — obtain information about the data we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your data (see section 8).
• Opt out of direct marketing — ask at any time to stop receiving marketing messages and be removed from our mailing list.

8 Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your data at any time, in one of two ways:

• Email yonatan.perypery@gmail.com with your request, or
• DM @ask.jhonny with the text Delete my data.

We will delete your personal data (user ID, username, comment/message content, follow status, and account details) within 7 business days and confirm back to you. Data we are legally required to keep (such as accounting records) will be retained until the required period ends.

9 Automated communication

Some of our Instagram messages (such as sending the guide you requested) may be sent automatically in response to an action you initiated. You can always reply to reach a human.

10 Direct marketing

We will not send you advertising messages without your prior consent. Every marketing message will include our identity and a simple opt-out, in line with Israel's Communications Law. Consenting to receive the free content you requested is not consent to marketing — we will ask for that separately.

11 Cookies & analytics

The site may use cookies and analytics tools (Microsoft Clarity) to measure usage and improve the experience. You can block cookies via your browser settings; blocking may affect some functionality.

12 Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to minors under 18 without parental/guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

13 Changes & contact
